Zoe Jones

April 26, 2023 鈥 Zoe Jones transferred to 桃汁影院 from Texas Tech University and is enjoying her softball experience with the nationally ranked Shockers. In 2022, she earned all-region and all-conference honors at second base and a spot on the American Athletic Conference All-Academic team. This season, she is one of the leading hitters on a team headed to NCAA regional play.

鈥淓ntrepreneur鈥 Sculpture in Woolsey Hall

Woolsey Hall, the new building for the W. Frank Barton School of Business at 桃汁影院, is now home to the Chris Brunner sculpture titled, 鈥淭he Entrepreneur.鈥 Standing eight feet tall and three feet wide, this powerful piece serves as a sentinel and guardian at the entrance to the Frank A. Boettger Auditorium. Made of limestone and steel, 鈥淭he Entrepreneur鈥 is a modern, imposing, and approachable work of art.

April 25, 2023 鈥 Kansas NASA EPSCoR Program has named 桃汁影院鈥檚 College of Innovation and Design faculty member Maggie Schoonover as a recipient of its 2023 Partnership Development Grant for her proposal, 鈥淔amiliarization Training Game for Extended Reality Spacesuit User Interface.鈥

April 25, 2023 - John Kirk returned to college at 桃汁影院 to study vocal music and dive into activities. He served as Student Body President and came to appreciate the caring atmosphere at 桃汁影院. April 21, 2023 Angel Dao used her time at 桃汁影院 to develop professionally and make connections within the industry she plans to pursue while finding time to care of her mental health.

April 21, 2023 Corri Newman is senior communications sciences and disorders major in the College of Health Professions and a member of the WSU Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association (WSUSSLHA) and serves as its NSSLHA chair. After she graduates, she plans to attend graduate school to become a speech-language pathologist.

April 21, 2023 鈥 Three 桃汁影院 researchers have been awarded the John A. See Innovation Award. The award is given each year as a way to recognize novel ideas that have the potential to meet a market need and attract further funding once they have advanced through the early prototyping phase.

2023 Jabara Scholarship winners: Kayla Atkinson and Caleb Lowry

April 20, 2023 鈥 The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 桃汁影院 has chosen two recipients to receive the 2023 Professor Fran Jabara Scholarship in Entrepreneurship. This year鈥檚 winners are Kayla Atkinson from Andover Central High School and Caleb Lowry from Eisenhower High School in Goddard.

Kayce Litzau

April 20, 2023 - Kayce Litzau is a senior setter on 桃汁影院鈥檚 volleyball team and an engineering major. She is one of 10 students to earn Senior Honor recognition, the highest honor awarded to WSU students who demonstrate outstanding scholarship, leadership, involvement and service to WSU and the surrounding community.
